Do I have to be online at a specific time?
No, you can go to class whenever you want. As one participant said, "I can get university credit in my pajamas, pet my cat, sip some wine, and talk to people all over the world, technology is great!"

What happens if I go out of town on vacation?
No problem, you have two weeks to view the topics. If you are gone for more than the two-week time period, you may make up the topic and still receive the credit

I don't want University credit but can I get something that says I have taken the course?
Yes, all participants will receive a certificate of completion stating course hour's etc.

Do I need to have an email address?

How many areas will it take me to do the course per day, per week?
Really this is dependent upon you and how invested you become in the class. This varies from class demands and off computer assignments. Most people report that they spend approximately 2-3 hours per week. This includes browsing and responding to class discussions.

I really hate to read online-how much reading will we be doing?
Our instructors design their classes so a minimum amount of online reading is necessary. Slide shows present information to you with both graphics and small descriptive paragraphs. Online discussions can be easily printed out and read off line. Any handouts that are lengthy are put in a format that students can download at anytime.

How interactive are the classes?
The classes are very interactive -the online discussions enable students to share ideas across the world.
